-Let's face it there are allot of moves in this sport and steps that go along with each move. But here's some moves that have proven to be the most effective when done with attitude and the safest to keep yourself from getting injured.
Little Tips; Big Performance: coaches and other don't mention these tips allot: - Neutral: Always grab opponents hands in neutral to moves them before trying to pound on there head. - Neutral: If grabbing opponent shoulder stick your thumb deep into there armpit to move them. -Neutral remember to keep your hands up and in front of you at least to where your knees are if not more. Neutral: It is always beneficial to touch the ground with one hand to make sure you are low enough to always lunge at your opponent and so you are in a good defense position. Neutral: Always move with the left foot first when moving left and slide the right foot and vice versa. This always apply to forward and backward. Neutral: Put your palm together and move them from your head to your groin; this is your center of gravity; when you face this COG towards your opponent your are in a superior position, this mindset can be applied to any position. - Singles: When Grabbing a single and lifting opponent's foot off the ground always have your near palm facing up so them strong bicep muscle is being used. - Singles: Once you have that single, run backwards to through opponent off balance then grab there other leg. - Stand Ups: Remember you trying to create SPACE, if you slide your opponent hands to your hip bone it is superior to slide the hand down in the middle of your waist. Break there grip with your hip bone and stick it outward. - Lock Up/Neutral: When in neutral the hand grabbing the opponent's neck shoulder be tight to move them around BUT remember you can use your elbow to push into there chest as well to move them around or stop them from shooting or getting too close to you. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Dynamic Moves: Neutral: Doubles Shuck (Tip: Stick your fist into opponent's chest to anger them so they come at you more) Shuck (Opponent blocked? Stuck on shots: Haven't quite perfected shooting. . . well there is allot you can do when stuck under an opponent:
Top: Spiral to Cross Face Ride (Spiral to Get a single then straighten opponent's leg, block there other leg with hand, and cross face them over to there back with other hand)
Bottom: Stand up ankle ride Tilts Knee Slide Stand Up
Shuck to single or double bow and arrows doubles to wrap around waist doubles to claw and duck under two on one set up to doubles single to hip heist High leg to cross face single defense pushing head into opponent and grabbing arms Get opponent flat: lifting shoulders and waist to get tight waist under hook to double shooting: sit outs, arm drags, lift overs, and pulling opponents ankle out from under them.
Movement: always step left leg when moving left and vice versa,
Throwing: under over technique, pulling on opponents back, keeping elbows close to body. Hips back to defend.
